Competitor cells are the vendor’s own published claims as read in October 2026, or not published where we found none. Accuracy was measured side by side with Profitero on 50 technical products across 8 retailers in the UK and Benelux; the method is on the press and data page.
Which has the more accurate price data?
Eebz publishes a benchmark; XPLN publishes none. On 50 technical products at 8 retailers in the UK and Benelux, Eebz returned the correct information 96% of the time against about 65% for the market leader. Every Eebz extract is timed to the moment each retailer reprices, delivered by 10am local time, and never filled with yesterday’s number when a scrape fails. XPLN describes real-time pricing and buy box tracking but gives no accuracy figure or cadence.
How long does each take to set up?
Eebz onboards in days. Sixta fills itself from the retailers’ own pages, PRS matches products at 99.9% accuracy with no URL lists, and 95% of new listings in a covered category are matched within days. When a retailer changes its site the average fix is 36 hours. XPLN describes AI-supported product matching, developed with EuroHPC funding, but publishes no onboarding timeline or fix time.
Which sees more of the shelf?
XPLN states hundreds of channels, Europe first, naming Amazon, Zalando, OTTO, Walmart and Temu, and Similarweb quotes 750+ retailers for the combined offer. Eebz covers every main retailer in every market you sell in, adds a missing retailer in days at no charge, and scrapes the complete category from the retailer’s own taxonomy, so share of shelf includes products you were not watching and is weighted by rank. Eebz also tracks 70,000+ marketplace sellers with every seller’s full offering visible.
What does each do with the data?
XPLN’s Digital Shelf Execution corrects content automatically through PIM integrations and describes multi-agent systems; Similarweb adds traffic, on-site search share and cross-shopping data, which Eebz does not offer. Eebz turns every exception into a task for its owner, and Ada acts beyond the PIM: it emails the buyer a reorder request with sales history, sends content fixes, creates and updates listings through 14 marketplace connectors and prices your own channels, within the rules you set.
When XPLN is the better fit
Choose XPLN if your retailers are mostly German and central European marketplaces such as OTTO, Zalando and MediaMarkt, you want content corrected automatically through your PIM, and Similarweb’s traffic and cross-shopping data is useful to you. It is GDPR-compliant and German-headquartered, which some procurement teams require.
