Price lists
Create price lists, set SRP or MAP by market, and use them to scope reports, cards and Ada notifications.
A price list is a set of SKUs with their recommended retail price (SRP), or in the US their minimum advertised price (MAP), in each market. Use price lists to record and share pricing, track promotional prices, and focus reports and notifications on the SKUs that matter.
Create a price list
Click Price Lists in the main menu, then Add Price List. Name the list and add at least one SKU. To start from an existing list's prices, copy it.
Add SKUs
Click + in the price list table, choose a product, then choose its SKUs. SKUs already on the list don't appear in the picker.
To remove SKUs, tick them and click the delete icon. Removed SKUs move to Ignored SKUs, where you can restore them. Their pricing is archived, not deleted.
Set prices
Click a SKU to open its panel on the right, with every market the list covers and its current prices. Click Edit on a market to manage its prices.
Each price has:
- Date range: when the price applies. Leave it open for an ongoing price, or set dates for a promotion.
- SRP or MAP: the recommended or minimum advertised price.
- Minimum and maximum price: optional values to report against.
- Promo flag: marks the price as promotional. A promotional price can overlap a regular price for the same dates.
Prices are set per market, in that market's currency.
Views
A price list can have several views: tabs with their own columns, filters and layout. Download or share each view on its own, or save it as a template for other price lists.
Sharing
Price lists are private by default. Switch on Share with organisation in the sidebar and your whole team can see and edit the list. Shared lists carry an organisation icon in the index.
Keep a list up to date
Switch on Generation in a price list's settings and it updates itself from rules you set, by brand, lifecycle status, importance or retailer. New SKUs that match are added as they arrive in your catalogue.
Export and send
From a price list you can:
- Download the current view as a CSV, priced in the list's default market.
- Send the view as a CSV or Excel file to contacts in your organisation.
Use price lists elsewhere
Price lists are a filter across the app: in the Playground, in dashboard cards and in notifications. That scopes a report or alert to a set of SKUs, not your whole catalogue.
Ada can also send a price list view to chosen recipients on a schedule.
